The Keel laying of the 85m Offshore Multipurpose Unit (UAM), commissioned by the Italian Coast Guard, designed and built by a joint venture between Fincantieri and Cantieri Navali Vittoria (CNV), was celebrated on the 31st of March 2023 in Adria, where the vessel is currently under construction.
We would like to thank CNV for having us as an important partner for Management and Production Planning Consulting to improve the Shipyard efficiency and, on this particular project, for other engineering services. We have already worked for more than a year providing technical support to the procurement process, reviewing the basic design and developing the first part of the entire detailed and production engineering scope. Our involvement will last until the final delivery of the unit.
In the picture, a delegation of our technical engineering leaders, who have played, together with the rest of Meccano Engineering team, a great role to the success of this project!
